About CRS
Comprehensive Risk Services was formed to help local hospitals remove asbestos from their facilities. The hospitals needed a company that would take extraordinary care in asbestos clean-up, ensuring the safety of hospital staff and patients. Because of this heritage, no other asbestos abatement company in Arizona has higher standards than CRS.
Our early asbestos removal work very often led to the discovery of previously undetected mold problems. Seeing an unmet need, we soon became experts in mold remediation as well. Our standards in this area equal those we set in our asbestos abatement work.
Today, CRS staff are the Valley's leading experts on issues of indoor air quality, asbestos abatement, and mold remediation. Even so, we never stop learning. When clients began asking about new firestop technologies, we went "back to school" and learned all there is to know about fire containment systems. Today we are proud to offer exceptional service in this area as well.
Our expertise
We have 22 employees with backgrounds in both construction and demolition. Our staff understands construction techniques and building codes, and has completed training and/or certification in numerous areas, including the following:
- mold remediation;
- duct cleaning;
- firestop principles, products, and methods;
- Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) certification by the EPA;
- 40-hour OSHA certification in Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER);
- advanced HAZWOPER manager/supervisor certification from OSHA; and
- CPR/automated external defibrillator (AED) certification.
